"So when iiWas living in Tallahassee, the main spot for the open-mic was this bookstore called Amen-Ra's. iiWent through there and did my thing a few times...and the host came up to me one night and said that he wanted to do a song with me...we kicked it and he started spittin the rhyme and his concept with me. iiWas really digging it and immediately started writing to it...we recorded the track the next day...the electricity and the excitement in that simple recording session in my college apartment on my laptop was undeniable...although it was a simple beat-jack, it felt like something truly special...maybe cuz we were talking about our folks and whatnot..."

My Friend Jade and iiAt Amen-Ra's Right Before My Performance. Jade Coined The term, "Acoustic Gangsterism" in 2006 and it's been in the nefTUNES Vocabulary Pamphlet ever since.

so, my work these days calls for me to share a lot of information. iiDo a lot of it on facebook.

facebook's way of controlling how much and what kind of information iiShare in an attempt to continue offering value to their advertisers (aka continue to make money off mine and your black asses, iiM not mad, iiVe used their advertising and plan to do so more in the future), they have implemented the 'captcha'.

the captcha is, according to wikipedia, "a type of challenge-response test used in computing as an attempt to ensure that the response is generated by a person. " it's basically a bunch of squiggly letters and characters,

sometimes iiLook at these 'captchas' like c'mon, son facebook you know that's not a word...nigga, you're asking me to "type" the square root of the letter p a pi sign next to a full blown illustration, how do you expect me to 'type' that?

Judge Not & Other Minaj-enon

type in "nicki minaj lapdance" on youtube...there are A LOT of DIFFERENT ones...#justsayin (not really). To be fair, iiAlso searched "Janet Jackson Lap Dance". Results were quite lower (read: none), but iiKnow she had some super sexy routines on the Velvet Rope tour. iiWas thinking this is because in JJ's heyday, youtube & cameraphones weren't as popular & theaters were more strict about filming concerts.

iiUnderstand the lapdance as a part of Nicki's stageshow, and her bringing celebrities up on stage to spice up the act, but the sheer volume and variety of lapdance videos is undeniable. Something tells me that even JJ's dances were a bit more creative and done while actually singing the damn song. Seeing all the different videos lined up like that, part of me says 'this is not a good look for Nicki'.

And then there is the other part of me...Although iiAm watching the same lap dance routine being performed over and over on a separate individual in each video (yes, each video)...iiCan't. Look. Away.

iiM not the slightest bit caught up about her making no attempt to perform the actual lyrics to the song. iiDon't give a fuck that she has the microphone hanging carelessly by her side as she dances. When the booty pop begins, all judgement leaves my element. And of course it does. To remain in judgment of Nicki, iiWould also have to judge myself...iiM human, iiDon't like to judge myself (or be judged by others), especially not with the same harsh ruler iiWould Judge another with...it makes poking fun a lot less, well, fun...

...Such is the human predicament...
